Third meeting of the participants of the Program “Sand Games For Social Inclusion”.

On the 7th – 8th of September 2019, the third meeting of the partners of the “Sand Games for Social Inclusion” program will be conducted in the city of Constanta in Romania. The meeting is organized by Corporate Games (Romania) and the host Radu Radulescu and partners from Greece, Italy, Romania and Spain are going to participate. During this third meeting, each partner will present the progress on the preparations of the project. The basic element of this project is the final presentation on the appropriate Sand Games list by Pythia in order to enhance the employability of the refugees and the social inclusion effectiveness. In this visit to Romania, all partners will have the chance to participate at the Beach Corporate event in Constanta, where more than 700 people from Croatia, Israel, Romania, Turkey and many more countries will participate. This event shall be the base for the “Sand Games” event, that will take place in Kavala, Greece, on May-June 2020

Four countries including Greece and partners from Italy, Romania and Spain will join forces to make a pioneering sport event for sport clubs. Through this event, youths will have the opportunity to participate in activities next to the sea and to enhance their social inclusion. The program's innovation lies in the element of volunteering with the participation of many volunteers. Sport and physical activity can be extremely valuable in the context of social inclusion and integration and it has the potential to make an important contribution to the integration of migrants in the EU. This program is under the umbrella of the European Union and it is funded from Erasmus Sport.
